Clares has got 3 dining rooms. The Big Hall, the Small Hall and a Buttery for Breakfast meals.
Generally we had "British Breakfast" in the morning and 3 course meals for Dinner....
Unfortunately I missed the first meal at the Closing Dinner, because of the Poetry Reading of Prof Clive Wilmer... But this was the only meal I've missed during the 2 weeks :)
Being in Cambridge you have necessarily to go to 'Fitzbillies' and have 'Chelsae Buns' (2Pounds)
We wouldn't have missed a single meal. It really looks delicious. Do you have a recipe for Chelsea Buns? We would love to try them. At the Fitzbillies site they have a tempting offer: a monthly shipment of 4 Chelsea buns for a whole year. Do you think they deliver to Germany??? Maybe we should stop writing this message and have some lunch before people start wondering, if we are food obsessed... Which you know we are. ;-)
