Cambridge Cuisine!

Clares has got 3 dining rooms. The Big Hall, the Small Hall and a Buttery for Breakfast meals.

Generally we had "British Breakfast" in the morning and 3 course meals for Dinner....

Unfortunately I missed the first meal at the Closing Dinner, because of the Poetry Reading of Prof Clive Wilmer... But this was the only meal I've missed during the 2 weeks :)

Being in Cambridge you have necessarily to go to 'Fitzbillies' and have 'Chelsae Buns' (2Pounds)

The Botanic Garden...

At the beginning of my walk I was attacked by a crazy cat

Where I live....

Clare College is the Second oldest in the University of Cambridge. It was first founded in 1326 and refounded in 1338 by Lady Elisabeth de Clare. Across the Queens Road you are able to see a large skulpture of a double helix. This helix is a tribute to James Watson who was a graduate student at Clare. At the time he co-discovered the structure of DNA.
Clare Bridge is the oldest surviving bridge in the city it is bonding the New Court with the Old Court of the College. In the Old Court every day breakfast and dinner is served.

My First Week in Cambridge Reading Romeo&Juliet, The Merchant of Venice and King Lear

Cambridge is really organised. It has got a long history. Everything has got its own tradition... even the bricks in the alleys!
